diana beltran herrera / mathematics for the reality

Diana Herrera is an artist, designer and illustrator from Columbia.

she is slicker than your average weekend origami enthusiast and makes very beautiful paper sculptures that made us smile…

and it seems that is exactly what Diana wants her creations to do:

I cut, paste, paint, draw, build, touch, create, place colors,
feel and try to give something to make people give me a
smile for at least one second.

enjoy her series of bird sculptures made from colourful paper and a good idea; these images are from “Mathematics For The Reality” – a study she is doing for what she has dubbed a ‘special project’.

also check out her wild paper pattern designs as well as some extracts from her Sketchbook Project.
