Nikita Nomerz is a street artist from the western Russian city of Nizhniy Novgorod.
he brings derelict structures to life by adding eyes and facial features, his works have ranged from water towers, to broken windows and old silos.
when questioned about being called an underground artist, he says: ” if you’re doing street art you’re not underground. You’re already on everyone’s mind, even if you paint on abandoned rubbish and only a couple of homeless people see your work. It is public art. It would be nice if people started paying attention to what is around us.”
