LOOK / Alcohol Under A Microscope

Produced by Bevshots since 2009, and shot at the Florida State University’s chemistry labs using  a 35mm camera, after many hours of work, alcohol and its mixers can be seen at 1000x magnification.

The drop of alcohol first needs to completely dry out on a slide in an airtight container, only after this can it be photographed. The process can take as many as three months and 200 attempts to properly capture all aspects of the drink.
